Chief Financial Officer - Ultra-Luxury Maritime Hospitality Platform

Location: Flexible / International (regular travel expected).

About the Opportunity

We are building a category-defining ultra-luxury maritime hospitality platform - a new generation of exploration vessels that brings true five-star, no-compromise hospitality to some of the world's most remarkable and remote destinations. Backed by an experienced founding team spanning naval architecture, luxury cruise innovation, and world-class hospitality, the platform is entering its next phase: structuring and raising capital for its initial rollout, with a clear path to a multi-vessel fleet.

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join the General Partner (GP) team and own the company's financial architecture, capital raising, and long-term fund strategy as we bring this platform to life.

The Role

As CFO, you will be a core member of the founding leadership team, responsible for building the financial backbone of a business structured around a GP/LP, vessel-level funding model - where each vessel is financed as an independent asset, and the platform scales through a disciplined, repeatable capital-raising process across a growing fleet.

This is a rare opportunity to build a finance function from the ground up inside a genuinely new category of business.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and own the company's overall financial architecture, including capital structure, fund mechanics, and treasury strategy across the GP and individual vessel-level entities
• Lead capital raising efforts, including engagement with institutional and private equity Limited Partners, marine finance lenders, and strategic capital partners
• Build and maintain the detailed financial models underpinning investment decisions, vessel-level returns, and fleet-level economics
• Structure and negotiate the terms of vessel-level partnership agreements, debt facilities, and any strategic capital arrangements
• Own financial reporting, governance, and investor relations across the fund structure, ensuring institutional-grade standards from day one
• Partner closely with the Founder and founding team on strategic decisions, brand partnership commercial terms, and fleet expansion planning
• Build out the finance function over time, including recruiting and managing future finance and accounting hires
• Represent the company's financial credibility externally - with investors, lenders, brand partners, and other strategic counterparties

What We're Looking For

• A strong, entrepreneurial CFO with a genuine builder's mindset - comfortable operating with the resourcefulness of a founder, not just the discipline of a large-company finance executive
• A proven track record structuring and/or raising capital for GP/LP fund structures, ideally in real assets, private equity, or infrastructure-style investment vehicles
• Deep fluency in capital structuring: debt/equity stacks, waterfall mechanics, carried interest, and institutional investor expectations
• Strong financial modeling capability and comfort operating at both strategic and highly detailed levels
• Excellent command of English; genuinely international in outlook and experience, comfortable operating across multiple jurisdictions and cultures
• High personal integrity, sound judgment, and the gravitas to represent the company credibly to sophisticated investors and world-class brand partners

Highly Valued (Not Required)

• Prior experience in luxury hospitality, luxury cruise, or marine finance - a genuine advantage given the nature of the asset class and the operating environment
• Experience working alongside naval architects, shipyards, or marine asset financing structures
• Existing relationships with private equity investors, family offices, or specialist marine/hospitality lenders
