About the role

VCET ASIA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team in Melaka on a full-time basis. This is a strategic management position within our Human Resources and Recruitment division, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our HR initiatives across the organisation. As Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of human resources operations, from recruitment and talent management to employee relations and compliance. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our company culture and organisational effectiveness whilst contributing directly to our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Human Resources functions.
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, talent acquisition, and employer branding.
• Build employee engagement and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
• Support leadership in organizational development and change management.
• Develop training and career development programs.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.
• Review and improve HR policies, procedures, and performance management systems.
• Drive continuous improvement within the HR department.
• Provide strategic HR advice and support to senior management and departmental heads

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of HR management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and HR regulations.
• Proven expertise in recruitment and talent acquisition, including experience with recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all organisational levels.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change whilst maintaining employee morale and engagement
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
• Experience in implementing HR policies, procedures and best practices
• Positive, energetic, proactive, and hands-on personality.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing organization.
• Fluent in English. French would be an advantage.
