Responsibilities
Job Summary
Joining our sales team as a Sales Engineer (Fire Protection), you will carry out sales strategies and grow revenue in the fire protection segment, with a focus on Singapore and nearby markets. You will seek out new business opportunities, look after customer relationships, and offer technical and commercial support to clients on shipbuilding, offshore and building fire protection projects. You will also keep up to date with local fire regulations, coordinate fire tests with the relevant authorities, and keep customers satisfied through clear communication and dependable service.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop the fire protection market in Singapore and build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
Promote and sell passive fire protection (PFP) products for shipbuilding and offshore projects.
Support market growth in the building and construction sector, including verifying local fire protection regulations and coordinating fire tests with relevant authorities.
Provide technical and commercial support to clients in shipbuilding, offshore and building fire protection projects.
Support PFP business in other South East Asia markets, in addition to Singapore.
Identify new business opportunities, manage customer accounts and drive sales activities to meet sales targets and revenue growth.
Prepare sales activity reports, including market reports, sales forecasts and business development plans.
Work with customer service and quality teams to handle customer inquiries, quotations and complaints.
Maintain and update customer agreements and contracts in a timely manner.
Handle general office administration and internal and customer communication.
Perform other duties assigned by the company.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Fire Safety or a related field.
At least
3 years of sales experience in fire protection or related industries.
Experience selling PFP products for shipbuilding, offshore or building projects.
Familiarity with Singapore fire protection regulations and testing procedures.
Strong market and customer understanding, with the ability to gather and analyse industry trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
Able to provide value-driven technical solutions and build lasting customer relationships based on data insights.
Good planning and performance management skills, with a drive to achieve business goals.
Good communication and teamwork abilities, working effectively with internal teams
