About the Role

We are looking for a Functional Tester with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) experience to support manual and functional testing activities for marketing technology applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual and functional testing for Salesforce Marketing Cloud applications and related systems.
• Communicate with project teams to understand testing requirements and provide testing effort estimations.
• Understand application architecture relevant to testing activities.
• Prepare detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Execute test cases and document testing results.
• Identify, log, track, and follow up on defects and bugs.
• Analyse defects and work with development/project teams on resolution and mitigation.
• Perform regression and functional testing as required.
• Maintain proper testing documentation and reports.
• Support testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure testing activities meet project quality and delivery timelines.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of functional/manual testing experience.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or equivalent marketing automation tools.
• Basic understanding of:
• HTML
• SQL
• Experience in defect/bug identification, tracking, and mitigation.
• Familiarity with JIRA and test management tools.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field.
• Experience preparing test cases and test scenarios.
• Good understanding of software testing processes and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
