The Role

Are you a network specialist who thrives on keeping critical services running without a hitch? We are seeking an experienced DDI Network Engineer to design, implement, manage and optimise enterprise DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM) solutions within a highly regulated banking environment. You will play a key part in ensuring the availability, security, scalability and performance of the network services that support business operations, digital banking platforms and regulatory compliance requirements. This is a contract, onsite opportunity within the finance sector.

What You'll Do

  • Administer and support enterprise DDI platforms such as Infoblox, BlueCat, or equivalent
  • Manage DNS, DHCP and IPAM services across production, disaster recovery and cloud environments
  • Maintain DNS architecture, zone management, record administration and naming standards
  • Monitor DHCP scopes, IP address utilisation and capacity planning, ensuring high availability and redundancy of DDI services
  • Design, implement and maintain enterprise network services supporting banking applications
  • Troubleshoot complex DNS, DHCP, IPAM, routing and connectivity issues, and perform changes, upgrades and migrations
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures across LAN, WAN, Data Centre, Internet and Cloud environments

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in network engineering and DDI technologies
  • Hands-on expertise with Infoblox, BlueCat, or equivalent DDI platforms
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Data Centre, Internet and Cloud networking
  • Knowledge of security controls and automation within network environments
  • Strong incident management and root cause analysis capabilities
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to thrive in a regulated banking environment
