Full Time Junior Electrical Engineer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,500 in Winston M&E Selangor - Maukerja

Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience in Electrical / M&E Project Engineering will be an advantage

Experience in electrical installation, construction or site coordination is preferred

Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical drafting

Able to read and understand electrical drawings and technical documents

Good understanding of electrical systems and site practices

Good communication, coordination and leadership skills

Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia

Ability to converse in Mandarin is an added advantage

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Able to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines

Willing to travel / work at project sites when required

Willing to travel outstation (Johor, Penang, Kuantan, etc.)

Coordinate and manage daily electrical project and site activities

Review and interpret electrical drawings, layouts, schematics and specifications

Coordinate electrical installation works with subcontractors and other M&E trades

Monitor electrical works including power distribution, lighting, small power and containment systems

Coordinate MDB, SMDB, DB, riser, cable tray and trunking works

Review project plans, Bills of Quantities (BQ) and technical documents

Assist with project costing and material planning

Source, compare and negotiate quotations from electrical suppliers and subcontractors

Arrange procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment to site

Monitor site progress, workmanship, quality and project schedule

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and vendors

Attend site meetings and resolve technical and site coordination matters

Prepare monthly progress claims, variation orders and project documentation

Follow up on material submissions, approvals and technical matters

Assist with testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical installations

Ensure works comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements

Ensure projects are completed on time and within the approved budget
