Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account and Finance Executive role based in Labuan. The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, preparing journals, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate ledgers. The Account and Finance Executive will prepare financial statements and management reports, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and support cash flow monitoring. The position includes handling invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal controls. The individual will collaborate with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders, assist with tax and regulatory filings, and contribute to process improvements in finance and accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
• Proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and handling accounts payable and receivable.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and basic financial analysis.
• Ability to work with accounting and ERP software, spreadsheets, and other financial reporting tools.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal control practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external parties.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in financial services, asset management, or investment advisory environments is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Labuan, manage deadlines, and maintain high ethical and confidentiality standards.
