Job Description
- Lead the planning and delivery of audit engagements to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Review audit findings and financial information to identify key matters for discussion and action.
- Set clear audit scopes, work plans and priorities for assigned engagements.
- Provide direction on audit procedures and review completed work to maintain consistent quality.
- Present audit outcomes and recommendations in clear, practical reports.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve audit queries and clarify findings.
- Monitor engagement progress and address issues that may affect delivery timelines.
- Contribute to the continued effectiveness of audit processes within the Accounting & Finance department.
A Successful 'Audit Director' Should Have
- Strong capability in leading audit engagements from planning through to final reporting especially in SEC reporting and PCAOB audits.
- Sound knowledge of audit procedures and the ability to review detailed financial information.
- Ability to assess audit findings and develop clear, practical recommendations.
- Experience preparing and presenting audit reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Confidence in managing audit priorities, timelines and engagement requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for discussing complex audit matters.
- Permanent Audit Director position in Kuala Lumpur.
- Salary of MYR 250000 to MYR 300000.
