Lead Science Teacher Jobs, Salary up to SGD 2,800 in Cognitive Whizz Pte. Ltd. - Maukerja

Looking for energetic, passionate, and responsible Lead Teachers, who enjoy interacting with children aged 10-16 years (2 Lead Teachers), to lead and engage them in hands-on experiential holiday programs.

Key responsibilities include:

- leading the class and small group discussions,

- conducting experiments and explaining key concepts to students in an engaging manner, using analogies, stories, real-life applications and experiences etc,

- guiding and motivating the children,

- spicing up the class,

- creating a fun and safe environment for the children to discover and explore

- managing classroom dynamics, proactively taking care of children’s well-being and safety,

- providing daily prompt updates on each child’s progress and wellbeing.

- providing daily updates to parents on key concepts and experiments covered

Requirements:

- Responsible, mature, patient

- Pleasant, fun-loving

- Proactive, takes initiative to improve quality of teaching, deliverables, team spirit, and close potential gaps

- Energetic, versatile, enjoys working in a dynamic environment

- Enjoys interacting with children (10-16 years), with a passion to nurture them

- Highly proficient in conversational English

- Able to work well independently as well as within a team

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Creative in coming up with fun, relevant activities to engage the children and reinforce concepts

- Possess classroom management skills

- Meticulous, good observation skills

- Maturity in handling parents’ queries and providing constructive updates in a timely manner

Experience is preferred but not necessary.

Degree / Diploma in Childhood Education, Science-related subjects, or Psychology, passion in Science and familiarity with the latest MOE syllabus are added advantages.
