Project Manager (General Insurance Domain)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in the General Insurance domain to lead and manage technology and business transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects across the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project delivery from initiation to closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners.
• Monitor project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, timeline, and budget.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and status reporting.
• Drive requirements clarification, solution delivery, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with organizational governance and project management standards.
• Support business and technology transformation initiatives within the insurance environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience.
• Mandatory experience in the General Insurance industry.
• Proven experience delivering application development, system enhancement, migration, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or related certifications.

Experience managing regional or enterprise-scale projects.

Exposure to Insurance Core Systems, Claims Systems, or Digital Insurance Platforms.
