TutorJohn Learning Centre provides quality tuition classes in Choa Chu Kang (CCK) and Tampines. We offer small-group tuition led by passionate tutors, as well as personalised home tuition matching services.

Position Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Interns to join our dynamic team.

The Teaching Intern will assist lead teachers in delivering high-quality educational experiences to students, support classroom management and contribute to various educational activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in preparing lesson plans, instructional materials and assessments.

• Support classroom activities and manage student engagement.

• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students as needed.

• Help organise and participate in extracurricular activities and events.

• Observe and learn from experienced educators to develop teaching skills and classroom management techniques.

• Participate in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.

• Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree programme.

• Passion for teaching and a strong desire to work with children and young adults.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.

• Familiarity with Singapore's education system is advantageous but not required.

Working Hours

• Weekdays (Monday to Friday): 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM

• Weekends (Saturday or Sunday): 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

• Work Schedule: 4 Weekdays + 1 Weekend

• Number of Working Days: 4–5 days per week

• Weekly Hours: 35–40 hours
