At Expat Dental, we are introducing an exciting new dual role that brings together dental hygiene and orthodontic treatment coordination. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Orthodontist and orthodontic patients, playing an integral role in both their oral health and their orthodontic journey.

What Makes This Role Special?

Alongside your usual Dental Hygienist responsibilities, you will take on an expanded role within our orthodontic team, helping patients achieve the best possible results through excellent hygiene, education, and ongoing support.

You will be an important part of the patient journey, working collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure that every patient receives exceptional care, guidance, and attention.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Dental Hygiene: Provide high-quality preventive dental care, including scaling, polishing, oral hygiene assessments, and personalised hygiene instruction.

• Orthodontic Patient Support: Work closely with our Orthodontist to support patients throughout their orthodontic treatment, helping them maintain excellent oral hygiene and healthy teeth and gums.

• Clinical Records & Diagnostics: Assist with clinical photography, X-rays, and 3D intraoral scans as part of the orthodontic assessment and treatment process.

• Treatment Plan Coordination: Support the presentation and explanation of orthodontic treatment plans, helping patients understand their proposed treatment and what to expect.

• Patient Education: Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene during orthodontic treatment, including practical advice tailored to their individual needs.

• Collaborative Patient Care: Play an integral role in coordinating the hygiene and orthodontic patient journey, working alongside our dentists, Orthodontist, and wider clinical team.

What We Are Looking For

• A qualified Dental Hygienist with a genuine passion for preventive care and patient education.

• Someone who enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them achieve long-term oral health.

• A proactive, organised, and collaborative team player who is excited to take on additional responsibilities.

• An interest in orthodontics and a willingness to develop skills in orthodontic treatment coordination.

• Excellent communication skills and a warm, patient-focused approach. Excellent English skills, both written and spoken are essential.
