Our client is a Singapore-based sustainable battery technology startup building safer, greener and more circular energy storage for consumer electronics, logistics and large-scale applications. Its R&D team is expanding into solid- and semi-solid-state battery technologies to speed up commercialisation.
What You'll Do
Research and develop solid-/semi-solid-state and next-generation battery chemistries
Design and synthesise new electrode, electrolyte and separator materials
Assemble and test coin, pouch, cylindrical and custom cell formats
Run electrochemical characterisation (CV, EIS, GCD, cycle life, rate performance) and study degradation and interfacial behaviour
Optimise cell design parameters (electrode loading, N/P ratio, electrolyte/cathode ratio) and benchmark against commercial Li-ion
Scale lab results into manufacturable processes and prototypes
Contribute to patents, and present prototypes at conferences and industry events
Uphold lab safety and compliance with relevant battery standards (ISO, UL, EU)
