Key Responsibilities

• Actively involve trainees and caregivers to take proactive and self-determined steps in trainees’ career aspirations and development
• Facilitate job search process between trainees, caregivers and employers (eg. preparation of resumes, parental consent for interviews, arrangement of job interviews, job orientation)
• Source for new employers and employment opportunities
• Coach trainees at worksite to fulfil required job tasks, while incorporating social skills, communication skills, self-management skills and etiquette skills necessary at work place.
• Mentor employers at different hierarchical levels to provide natural support for trainees at worksite.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Ability to provide on-the-job coaching, demonstrate tasks, help clients adapt to workplace routines, and encourage independence.
• Ability to identify a client's strengths, abilities, interests, support needs, and employment goals.
• Ability to communicate with employers and develop suitable employment opportunities for clients.
