Role Description The Marketing and Business Development Intern will support the team in promoting EKG’s engineering and MEP services and identifying new business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with market research, preparing marketing materials and presentations, and supporting the development of marketing strategies and campaigns. The intern will help with sales-related activities such as coordinating meetings, preparing proposals, and maintaining customer records, as well as providing basic customer service support. This is an internship role based on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur, offering hands-on exposure to marketing and business development in a technical services environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills.
• Candidates should possess Market Research and Marketing Strategy skills.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills and an interest in business development.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital tools (e.g., social media, presentations) is beneficial.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar productivity software; familiarity with design or CRM tools is an advantage.
