Responsibilities
- Discussing moving details, schedules, and costs with clients
- Packing items securely, ensuring fragile items are properly protected
- Loading and unloading the moving truck, following proper lifting and handling techniques
- Driving moving truck to and from the client’s old and new locations
- Assisting in the assembly and disassembly of furniture and other large items
- Keeping an accurate inventory of all items moved, noting any damages or losses
- Ensuring the moving truck and equipment are clean and in good working condition
- Providing excellent customer service, addressing client concerns or complaints
- Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations during the moving process
