Job Description
Responsibilities
We are looking for a Production Planner for a precision machining company serving the Oil & Gas industry to keep schedules realistic and deliveries on time.
Responsibilities
Know workflows between our ERP, MES and scheduling systems.
Build schedules that balance resource availability, constraints and customer due dates.
Refine plans to lift efficiency and protect delivery commitments.
Spot bottlenecks early and clear them.
Compare planned against actual output, adjusting plans when conditions change.
Reserve machine capacity based on sales forecasts.
Liaise with other departments to keep execution smooth and resolve issues.
Host weekly review meetings with stakeholders.
Prepare capacity and on-time delivery reports.
Handle other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Competence in reading BOMs and engineering drawings.
Sound grasp of process operation sequences.
Clear verbal and written communication, backed by good interpersonal skills.
Composure under pressure and a sense of urgency.
Comfortable with Microsoft Office.
