Full Time Junior - Intern Interior Designer Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,800 in EY Creative Reno & Designs Federal Territory - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in developing design concepts and ideas.
• Preparing mood boards, sketches, and presentations for client proposals.
• Helping select furniture, materials, finishes, and color schemes.
• Researching current trends, materials, product options and sourcing.
• Develop 2D detailed drawings for carpentry & interior detailing layout using software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp.
• Create and refine 3D models for presentation and visualizing for design proposals
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirement and ensure designs meet expectations.
• Maintain project timeline and deliverables with a keen eye detail & quality
• Assisting with site surveys, measurements, and assessment.
• Taking photos or documenting progress for reports and presentations.

Requirement :

1. Educational Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma: A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
• Certification (Optional): Relevant certifications
• Portfolio: A strong design portfolio showcasing creative skills, conceptual designs, and technical work.

2. Technical Skills

• Software Proficiency:
• AutoCAD or SketchUp (for technical drawings).
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Enscape, Illustrator) for presentations.
• Rendering software like 3ds Max or Lumion (optional but beneficial).
• Basic Drafting Skills: Ability to create 2D drawings and technical layouts.
• Space Planning: Knowledge of how to plan and utilize space effectively.
• Material Knowledge: Basic understanding of furniture, finishes, textiles, and materials.

3. Experience (Entry-Level)

• Internship: Previous internships or part-time experience in an interior design firm is highly desirable.
• Site Experience: Exposure to site measurements or installations (even during internships).

4. Soft Skills and Personal Attributes

• Creativity: A strong creative and artistic flair.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in drafting and visualizing designs.
• Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and team members.
