Key Responsibilities

Assist in daily food preparation and cooking, ensuring dishes are prepared to the required standards.
Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth, efficient, and well-coordinated daily operations.
Comply with all food hygiene, workplace safety, and SFA requirements.
Keep kitchen stations clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new cooking techniques, recipes, and kitchen processes.
Assist in monitoring inventory, managing stock levels, and preparing stock orders when required.
Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure all ingredients meet quality, freshness, and safety standards.
Ensure proper food handling, storage, labelling, and rotation to maintain ingredient freshness and minimize wastage.
Follow standardized recipes, portioning guidelines, and plating standards to ensure consistency across all dishes.
Support effective waste management and sustainable kitchen practices.
Carry out any other kitchen-related duties as assigned to support the smooth running of the restaurant.
