Job summary

We are looking for an experienced retail leader to guide our branches. You will improve sales and service, support branch managers, develop teams and make sure daily procedures are followed.

Job responsibilities

• Lead branch performance: Set targets, review results and agree actions to improve sales, service and productivity.
• Run branch operations: Set clear routines for staffing, schedules, daily readiness, customer flow, reporting and issue follow-up.
• Manage people: Work with HR on hiring, onboarding, training, wellbeing and discipline. Coach branch managers and follow up on performance.
• Improve customer service: Set service standards, review feedback and complaints, and help branches resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain standards and controls: Keep procedures clear and practical. Make sure branches follow company policies and controls for cash, records, systems and safekeeping.
• Grow the business: Work with Marketing and other teams on promotions, customer reactivation and local branch ideas. Track results and follow approved procedures.
• Improve systems and support change: Fix process gaps with support teams and lead branch readiness for openings, relocations and major campaigns.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or degree in Business, Retail Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years in retail or branch operations, including 3 years managing multiple branches or teams.
• Experience improving sales, service and branch operations.
• Good understanding of retail operations, customer service, procedures and controls.
• Able to read performance reports and turn results into clear actions.
• Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills, with sound judgement and integrity.
• Ar-Rahnu or financial services experience is an advantage.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Able to travel to branches and work occasional weekends or public holidays.
