About DUN XIN (ECHO)

DUN XIN is an independent livehouse hosting liveshow, amazing live performances and DJ sets. We put on a few shows a month and care about two things: great nights for audiences and a smooth, respectful experience for the artists who play here.

Position Overview

We are seeking a vision-driven, highly structured

Stage Producer

to oversee the end-to-end realization of live stage productions. Serving as the primary bridge between creative vision, technical execution, and business operations, the Stage Producer manages budgets, schedules, creative teams, and technical crews from initial concept through closing night/event execution.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Development & Planning

Collaborate with creative directors, playwrights, choreographers, and musical directors to shape the show’s artistic and thematic direction.

Develop realistic production timelines, master schedules, and show budgets; negotiate vendor and talent contracts.

Assemble design and technical teams (scenography, lighting, audio, video/LED, wardrobe, and special effects).

Logistics & Budget Management

Oversee production finances, tracking expenditure across staging, tech equipment, labor, and artist fees to ensure project profitability.

Secure necessary permits, licensing, venue agreements, and health/safety compliance documentation.

Coordinate venue logistics, load-in schedules, technical rider fulfillment, and labor staffing (union/non-union crew).

Show Execution & Quality Control

Lead overall production meetings and supervise technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals, and run-throughs.

Partner with the Stage Manager and Technical Director to ensure show cues, timing, and safety standards are flawlessly executed.

Troubleshoot real-time logistical, technical, or talent challenges during rehearsals and live show runs.

Post-Production & Wrap-Up

Manage load-out schedules, venue strikes, and rental equipment returns.

Conduct post-event debriefs, financial reconciliations, and final artist/vendor settlements.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience:
Min. 5+ years of experience in stage production, theatrical producing, live event management, or touring shows.

Financial Acumen:
Proven experience managing production budgets, negotiating contracts, and handling vendor settlements.

Technical Understanding:
Comprehensive knowledge of live production disciplines (stage craft, audio, lighting, video, rigging, and staging logistics).

Leadership:
Excellent project management skills; ability to inspire and lead multidisciplinary teams under fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written negotiation and communication skills.

Software:
Proficiency with project management tools (Asana, *************), spreadsheet budgeting (Excel/Google Sheets), and production scheduling software.
