KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

Qualification

1.     Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

2.     Relevant experience in Data Center, IT Operations, Computer Operations or a similar operational environment is preferred.

3.     Experience in 24/7 shift operations and production batch monitoring is an advantage. The role requires readiness to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays, and to provide operational support outside normal working hours when assigned.

4.     Basic knowledge of server, network, backup and Data Center operations.

5.     Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication or similar backup technologies is an advantage.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in Data Center Operations, IT Operations or Computer Operations. Experience in 24/7 shift operations, batch processing and backup operations is preferred.

1.     Data Centre operations and monitoring

2.     Production batch processing and job scheduling

3.     Veeam backup, replication and recovery concepts

4.     Server, network and infrastructure monitoring

5.     Disaster Recovery operations

6.     Data Centre physical security and access control
