ABURII is hiring a Chef de Partie and Sous Chef who take pride in good food, consistent standards and teamwork. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine and working in a busy restaurant kitchen, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to ABURII’s recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portion sizes and timely service.
• Organise daily preparation and keep your station ready for service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and proper storage procedures.
• Monitor stock, minimise waste and keep work areas clean.
• Work closely with the kitchen and service teams to coordinate orders.

Chef de Partie

Take responsibility for your assigned section, manage preparation and service, and guide junior team members.

Sous Chef

Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, supervise the team, coordinate sections during service and help train junior chefs.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as a Chef de Partie, Sous Chef or in a similar kitchen role.
• Experience in Japanese cuisine is preferred.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations and food safety.
• Able to maintain quality and stay organised during busy service.
• Reliable, responsible and willing to support the team.
• Available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
