A Publicly listed client of ours is looking for a commercially focused AI executive who can convert strong data and technology foundations into enterprise adoption, new business models, revenue growth and measurable P&L impact.

Key Mandate:

The Chief AI Value Creation Officer (CAIVO) is responsible for turning the organisation’s existing data, technology and AI capabilities into measurable business value.

This is a commercial and transformation leadership role, not a traditional technology position. The CAIVO will identify high-value AI opportunities, drive enterprise adoption, develop AI-enabled products and services, and ensure AI investments deliver tangible revenue, productivity and P&L impact.

The role sits at the intersection of: AI and emerging technology, Commercial strategy and monetisation, Enterprise transformation, Organisational change, Investment and portfolio management

What Success Looks Like: Within 12–24 months:

• Revenue generated from AI-enabled products and services.
• A strong pipeline of AI-driven commercial opportunities.
• Measurable productivity and margin improvements.
• High adoption across priority functions.
• Multiple AI initiatives scaled from pilot to enterprise deployment.
• Clear ROI measurement across the AI portfolio.
• Reduced duplication and investment in low-value initiatives.
• Improved AI capability and literacy across leadership.

Must-Have Experience and Capabilities - at least 15 years of overall experience in:

• Significant leadership experience in AI, digital or enterprise transformation.
• Strong commercial orientation and understanding of P&L impact.
• Experience developing and monetising technology-enabled products or services.
• Proven ability to move initiatives from experimentation to scaled adoption.
• Strong understanding of generative AI, machine learning, AI agents and automation.
• Experience influencing CEOs, Boards and senior executives.
• Strong organisational change and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to operate across commercial, operational, technology and data functions.
• Experience making investment decisions in rapidly evolving technology and business environments.
• Ability to measure and communicate value through revenue, productivity, margin and adoption metrics.
• Sufficient technical credibility to work effectively with technology, data and engineering leaders.
