Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Halal Management, Islamic Studies, Food Science, Food Technology, F&B Management or a related field.

Relevant experience in Halal certification, Halal compliance or F&B operations will be an added advantage.

Familiar with Halal certification requirements and documentation.

Knowledge of Halal Assurance System (HAS) and related procedures is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.

Good organisational and time-management skills.

Proactive, responsible and committed to maintaining compliance standards.

Willing to conduct regular inspections and travel between outlets when required.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced F&B environment.

Manage and maintain the Company’s Halal certification and ensure continuous compliance with applicable Halal requirements.

Coordinate Halal certification applications, renewals, audits and inspections with relevant authorities.

Maintain and update the Company’s Halal Assurance System (HAS), policies, procedures and related documentation.

Verify the Halal status and supporting documents of all ingredients, raw materials, suppliers and food-related products.

Conduct regular Halal inspections at kitchens, outlets, storage areas and other relevant premises.

Monitor food preparation, storage, handling and cleaning practices to ensure compliance with Halal requirements.

Ensure proper segregation and prevent contamination between Halal and non-Halal materials, equipment and areas.

Conduct Halal awareness and training for employees and maintain relevant training records.

Maintain complete and accurate Halal documentation, records and traceability for audit purposes.

Identify, investigate and report Halal non-compliance and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.

Work closely with Operations, Purchasing, Kitchen and other departments to ensure Halal requirements are consistently implemented.

Review new ingredients, suppliers, products, recipes and processes to ensure Halal compliance before implementation.

Keep Management informed of changes in Halal requirements, audit findings and compliance matters.

Perform other Halal-related duties as assigned by Management.
