Job Description:-
A. Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop, maintain, and update the overall project master programme and detailed work schedules.
- Monitor project progress against the approved baseline programme and identify delays, critical activities, and potential risks.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management and project meetings.
- Track actual progress against planned progress and provide appropriate recovery or mitigation plans.
- Prepare and update 2-week / 3-week / 4-week look-ahead programmes.
- Monitor critical path activities and advise the Project Manager of potential delays affecting project completion.
- Coordinate with construction, M&E, architectural, procurement, and other project teams to ensure activities are properly sequenced.
- Analyse project progress and prepare progress reports, S-curves, manpower histograms, and other planning-related reports.
- Assist in preparing recovery programmes and revised schedules when required.
- Maintain proper records of project schedules, progress updates, delays, and programme revisions.
B. Medical Equipment Coordination
- Coordinate the planning and implementation of medical equipment works from design coordination through procurement, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Prepare and maintain a comprehensive Medical Equipment Schedule / Equipment Master List.
- Monitor the procurement status of medical equipment, including approval, ordering, manufacturing, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Coordinate with medical equipment suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery in accordance with the project programme.
- Coordinate medical equipment requirements with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, ICT, plumbing, and other relevant disciplines.
- Review equipment layouts, technical requirements, builder's work requirements, M&E interfaces, utility requirements, and installation requirements.
- Coordinate with consultants and end users on medical equipment technical submissions, shop drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
- Monitor the readiness of rooms and areas prior to equipment delivery and installation.
- Coordinate equipment installation activities with site teams and relevant subcontractors.
- Monitor testing, commissioning, inspection, and acceptance of medical equipment.
- Coordinate rectification of defects, outstanding works, and commissioning issues with vendors and relevant parties.
- Maintain records of equipment delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, warranties, manuals, certificates, and handover documents.
- Assist in preparing the final medical equipment documentation for project handover / CPC / completion.
C. Coordination & Reporting
- Attend project coordination meetings and provide updates on planning and medical equipment activities.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, and client representatives.
- Identify interface issues between medical equipment and building works at an early stage.
- Follow up on outstanding technical submissions, approvals, procurement matters, deliveries, and site installation activities.
- Prepare equipment progress reports and highlight critical issues requiring management attention.
- Maintain an updated procurement and installation tracker for all medical equipment.
- Assist in preparing presentations and progress reports for management and client meetings.
D. Documentation & Handover
- Maintain proper records of approved drawings, technical submissions, equipment schedules, inspection records, testing and commissioning documents, and certificates.
- Monitor the submission and approval of O&M manuals, warranties, training records, test certificates, and as-built information.
- Coordinate with vendors for user training and demonstration of medical equipment where required.
- Assist in preparing equipment handover documentation and outstanding items / snagging lists.
- Ensure all medical equipment-related documentation is properly compiled for final handover.
Job Requirements:-
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Healthcare Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant experience in hospital / healthcare construction projects will have an advantage.
- Preferably 3–5 years of relevant experience in project planning, construction coordination, medical equipment coordination, or a related field.
- Experience in hospital, healthcare, medical centre, or institutional construction projects is highly preferred.
- Experience coordinating with medical equipment suppliers, consultants, contractors, and end users will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in JKR / government projects will be advantageous.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
