· Must have a minimum of 5-8 years in network engineering/operations with exposure to CMDB and IT service management

· Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB.

· Practicing experience onboarding network infrastructure into ServiceNow.

· Good understanding of CMDB concepts, including CIs, CI classes, relationships, reconciliation, identification, and data quality.

· Experience with Service Mapping and understanding of infrastructure/service dependencies.

· Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and network management protocols.

·Experience troubleshooting network discovery and inventory/data-collection issues.

· Understanding of discovery credentials, probes, patterns, and MID Server concepts.

· Experience validating and reconciling infrastructure data across multiple sources.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to identifying and resolving data-quality issues.

·        Experience working within IT Service Management / Enterprise Service Management environments.

· Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
