Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Typically requires 2-8 years of experience with Dynamics NAV or Business Central, with a strong understanding of core financial modules and other relevant areas like manufacturing, warehouse, and project accounting. Preferably with 3 full cycle ERP experience. 
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as the role involves liaising with teams across various geographies. 
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and implement effective solutions. 
• Educational Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field is often preferred. 
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with data migration, user/system requirements, and the ability to identify necessary customizations. 

• Implementing and configuring Business Central throughout the project lifecycle. 
• Gathering and documenting business requirements. 
• Customizing the system to meet client needs, including data migration and testing. 
• Conducting user training and providing ongoing support. 
• Delivering consultancy during the project and participating in pre-sales activities. 
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align project goals and solution 

Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant responsible for implementing and configuring Business Central ERP systems, owning full project life cycles from requirements gathering and data migration to configuration, testing, training and post-implementation support. The role delivers functional consultancy, documents business requirements and functional specifications, collaborates with cross-functional teams, participates in pre-sales activities, and produces end-user documentation and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation and Configuration: Oversee the full project life cycle of Business Central implementations, including data gathering, preparation, and import into the system. Configure Business Central to meet specific customer requirements and ensure it aligns with business processes. 
• Training and Support: Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions and provide training for clients. Offer ongoing support to customers, addressing any issues that arise post-implementation. 
• Consultation and Analysis: Deliver consultancy throughout the project life cycle, including analyzing client business processes and recommending improvements. Document business requirements and functional specifications using methodologies like Microsoft's Sure Step. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, application developers, and technical experts, to ensure successful project execution. Participate in pre-sales activities and provide technical advice as needed. 
• Documentation and Reporting: Draft end-user documentation and deliver training both online and in-person. Provide key reporting and insights to stakeholders.
