We have an Immediate Opening - IT Infra Project Manager with our reputed Client.

Job Summary

We are seeking a mature, proactive, and technically knowledgeable IT Infrastructure Project Manager with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and technical operations. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3–5 years of project management experience and the ability to coordinate technical teams, manage project timelines, and ensure successful project delivery.

This is a long-term engagement, and preference will be given to local Malaysian candidates who demonstrate strong ownership, communication skills, and a willingness to grow with the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

· Plan, coordinate, and manage IT infrastructure and networking projects from initiation through completion.

· Work closely with technical teams, network engineers, infrastructure engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

· Manage project schedules, milestones, deliverables, resource allocation, risks, issues, and dependencies.

· Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates, reports, and escalation of critical issues.

· Coordinate infrastructure implementation, network upgrades, system migrations, and technical deployments.

· Ensure project activities comply with organisational standards, security requirements, and operational procedures.

· Facilitate project meetings, track action items, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding matters.

· Support testing, implementation, change management, and project handover to operations teams.

· Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation plans to minimise delays and disruptions.

Requirements

· 3–5 years of experience in IT project management, IT infrastructure, networking, or a related technical environment.

· Good understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and connectivity.

· Experience coordinating technical teams and managing infrastructure or networking-related projects.

· Strong project planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

· Good problem-solving abilities with a mature, responsible, and proactive working attitude.

· Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Familiarity with project management methodologies, ITIL, Agile, or Waterfall is an advantage.

· Relevant IT, Computer Science, Networking, or Project Management qualifications are preferred.

· PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or ITIL certification is an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

· Malaysian local candidate preferred.

· Candidates with 3–5 years of relevant experience and a strong technical foundation are encouraged to apply.

· A technically hands-on or infrastructure-oriented candidate who has progressed into project coordination or project management would be ideal.
