Full Time Junior Audio Visual Technician (AV) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 2,500 + overtime in Zaques Hotel (M) WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

Minimum SPM or Certificate/Diploma in Audio Visual Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Multimedia or related field.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; basic experience in AV systems or event technical support is an advantage.

Basic knowledge of sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens and stage lighting.

Able to set up, operate and troubleshoot AV equipment.

Basic knowledge of cable connections, audio mixers and technical equipment.

Willing to learn and assist with hotel events, weddings, seminars and conferences.

Responsible, hardworking and able to work independently or in a team.

Willing to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Malaysian citizens only.

Set up, operate and dismantle AV equipment for hotel events, weddings, seminars, meetings and conferences.

Handle sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens, stage lighting and other AV equipment.

Provide technical support before, during and after events to ensure smooth operations.

Conduct sound checks, equipment testing and technical inspections before events.

Troubleshoot and resolve basic audio, visual and lighting issues during events.

Perform routine maintenance, cleaning and inspection of AV equipment.

Identify, report and record equipment defects, damages and maintenance requirements.

Assist in minor repairs and coordinate with external technicians or suppliers when required.

Maintain proper storage, handling and inventory of AV equipment, cables and accessories.

Coordinate with Banquet, Sales and Operations teams on event technical requirements.

Ensure all AV equipment is operated safely and properly maintained.

Prepare basic maintenance reports, equipment checklists and event technical reports.

Perform other technical and event-related duties assigned by the supervisor or management.
