We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven
Senior Sales Specialist
to join our Singapore team and support the continued growth of our business across Singapore and the APAC region.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing and growing client relationships, preparing proposals and quotations, and working closely with our operations and client service teams to deliver successful event technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within Singapore and the wider APAC market.
Proactively prospect and engage potential clients, including event agencies, event organisers, corporations, venues, associations, and event technology partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Understand clients' event requirements and recommend suitable registration, check-in, printing, kiosk, tablet, networking, and related event technology solutions.
Manage the complete sales cycle from initial enquiry and qualification through proposal, quotation, negotiation, confirmation, and post-event follow-up.
Prepare accurate and commercially appropriate quotations and proposals based on client requirements.
Follow up consistently on enquiries, proposals, and open opportunities to drive conversion and revenue growth.
Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client communications, pricing, and sales activities within the company's CRM.
Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts, activity reports, and updates to management.
Work closely with Client Services, Operations, Logistics, Fulfillment, Technical, and Accounting teams to ensure confirmed projects are handed over accurately and delivered successfully.
Develop a strong understanding of Choose 2 Rent's equipment, services, capabilities, pricing structure, and operational processes.
Conduct client meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits where required.
Attend relevant exhibitions, conferences, networking events, and industry meetings to develop relationships and generate new business opportunities.
Monitor market developments, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the events and event technology sectors.
Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products and services to existing clients.
Support strategic partnerships and key accounts across the APAC region.
Contribute to the achievement of individual and company sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
Minimum
4 years of B2B sales, business development, or account management experience
, preferably within events, event technology, AV, IT solutions, hospitality, exhibitions, or a related industry.
Demonstrated experience managing the full sales cycle and developing new business.
Strong prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
Commercially minded with the ability to understand client requirements and translate them into appropriate solutions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously.
Confident communicating with clients and stakeholders at different levels, including senior decision-makers.
Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining an accurate sales pipeline.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where event requirements can change quickly.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when preparing quotations, pricing, and client requirements.
Self-motivated, proactive, target-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a regional team.
Experience within APAC events, exhibitions, MICE, or event technology ecosystem would be an advantage.
