Position: Account Assistant
Department: Finance & Accounts
Reports To: Account Executive / Management

Job Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable
• Assist in processing supplier invoices, payment vouchers and customer invoices.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on accounts receivable.
• Verify invoices, receipts and supporting documents before payment processing.
• Data Entry & Record Keeping
• Perform daily accounting data entry into the accounting system.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, invoices, receipts and payment documents.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of financial documents.
• Banking & Payment
• Assist in preparing bank transfers, payment schedules and cheque payments, where applicable.
• Perform bank reconciliation and verify transactions against bank statements.
• Monitor daily cash flow records and payment transactions.
• Retail & Inventory Support
• Assist in verifying daily sales reports from retail outlets and online sales platforms.
• Reconcile sales collections against payment gateway, cash and bank records.
• Coordinate with the retail and warehouse teams regarding stock purchases, supplier invoices and related documentation.
• Assist in processing supplier invoices, payment vouchers and customer invoices.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on accounts receivable.
• Verify invoices, receipts and supporting documents before payment processing.

Requirements

• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills.
• Responsible, trustworthy and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,700.00 per month
