HIRING: RESIDENT ADVISOR

An international school in Seremban is seeking caring and responsible individuals to support students in its boarding house.

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Salary: RM5,000–RM6,000, negotiable

Working hours: Night shift, with evening and weekend activities and on-call responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise boarders and ensure their safety, security and wellbeing.

• Provide emotional and social support, helping students feel comfortable and supported away from home.

• Assist with daily boarding operations, student records and enforcement of boarding house rules.

• Organize and supervise academic, recreational and community activities.

• Coordinate with teachers, medical staff and other school departments on student needs.

• Respond to emergencies and escalate health or behavioral concerns appropriately.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Able to communicate in English and work night shifts.

• Good leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.

• Sensitive to the needs of young people from different cultural backgrounds.

• Able to meet the physical demands of the role and work closely with others.

• A first aid certificate and additional language proficiency would be advantages.
