Full Time Asst Manager-IT Jobs, Salary up to SGD 3,800 in INDIAN BANK Central Region (Singapore) - Maukerja

As an Asst Manager – Information Technology he/she is responsible for overseeing the infrastructure of technical operations of the Branch, managing a team of IT employees, tracking technology in order to achieve business goals, eliminating security risks, increasing user satisfaction, and maintaining operations and systems. As a leader in the IT department, and an employee responsible for organisation-wide systems and information. He/she be highly skilled and capable with Qualities such as crisis management and ability to prioritise the requirements of the Branch.

Areas of Operation:

1. System Administration knowledge on Windows/LINUX/IBM I Series

2. Database Administration on SQL Server and Oracle

3. VMWARE Administration & Management

4. Knowledge on OS/DB licensing

5. Knowledge on Networking

6. Network Segmentation & VLAN/VPN Configuration

7. Co-ordinating various IT teams/Vendors to implement a solution

8. Ability to act as a System Integrator for the Implementation of IT Infrastructure/Application Management

9. Knowledge on Firewall/HIDS/NIPS

10. Knowledge on SAN Storage Management

11. Maintenance of IT inventory and ensuring the Maintenance contract renewals

12. Sharing of knowledge with end users of the bank for implementation of various Technologies

13. Willingness to adopt/learn Bank IT environment and acquiring knowledge on various critical IT assets of the Bank

14. Conducting of IT Security/ Knowledge sharing sessions for Peers/Team members/End users based on the requirement.

15. The Officer should have thorough understanding of IT related guidelines/rules/regulations issued by Regulator/Government/various authorities of the host country and home country (desirable).

Desirable qualification: Degree from a recognised university in IT and some Specialised qualification/Certification in System/Network Administration/ ITIL certification   from a reputed and recognised institute. Apart from this the below qualification may be preferred.

1. IT Security Implementation

2. Data Centre Management

3. System Hardening and Database Hardening

4. Evaluation of IT Architecture and propose cost effective solution to suit the requirement of the Bank

5. Application Programming/Database programming

6. OS Scripting

7. OS / Database Tuning Experience

8. Knowledge on Backup Software and Backup Management

9. Creation of IT policies and implementation to comply with the regulatory requirements

10. Web sphere/Web logic Administration
