Job Summary

Lead and manage daily logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation, inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, and cost control while supervising staff and maintaining compliance with safety and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily logistics, transportation, and delivery operations to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods to maintain operational efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels and verify stock accuracy to prevent discrepancies
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers by optimizing logistics schedules
• Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and transport companies to resolve logistics issues and improve service quality
• Control logistics costs by identifying and implementing cost-saving measures
• Supervise logistics and warehouse staff to maintain productivity and adherence to procedures
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with safety procedures to meet regulatory standards
• Resolve delivery and logistics-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions
• Prepare detailed logistics reports for management to support decision-making

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Relevant experience in logistics or warehouse operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong communication and organisational skills applied to team leadership and problem-solving
