Job Summary

We are looking for a final-year student, or someone a few months from graduation, to join our presales team as an intern. You will gain hands-on exposure to enterprise networking and IT solutions, tender and RFQ preparation, and internal MIS and reporting. Outstanding performers will be considered for a full-time position upon graduation.

Requirements:

• Final-year student, or within a few months of graduating, in a Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field

• Available to start immediately, or within a short notice period

• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, switching, routing, firewalls, Wi-Fi); CCNA coursework or certification is an advantage

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Word and PowerPoint

• Good written English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is a plus

• Detail-oriented, organised and able to meet deadlines

• Willing to learn and work in a team

Nice to Have:;

• Interest in cybersecurity, data centre or enterprise IT infrastructure

• Prior exposure to tender or procurement documents

Tender & RFQ Support

• Monitor and collect tender and RFQ notices from relevant portals and customers

• Help prepare tender documents, including compliance checklists, technical submissions and supporting documents

• Assemble product datasheets, certifications and technical specifications for submissions

• Track tender deadlines, clarifications and submission status

• Maintain an organised record of past and ongoing tenders

Networking & Technical Support

• Assist presales engineers in reading customer requirements and matching them to product specifications

• Help prepare BOMs and basic solution documentation

• Support product demos, proof-of-concept setups and lab testing where needed

• Research vendor products, features and competitor offerings

MIS & Office Support

• Maintain and update internal databases and trackers (opportunities, tenders, RFQs, product lists) in Excel or Google Sheets

• Generate regular reports and simple dashboards for management

• Help ensure data accuracy and consistency across sales and presales records

• Assist with general IT housekeeping, such as document filing, shared drives and basic office system support
