The Role:

Are you an experienced technical professional who thrives on keeping critical systems running smoothly? In this onsite role within the finance sector, you will manage, implement, support and maintain back-office systems and their interfaces that power equity operations. You will work closely with business users, project teams and vendors to ensure systems are stable, compliant and ready to support evolving business needs.

What You'll Do:

• Support daily IT operations, including systems, infrastructure, network and preventive maintenance, while maintaining 99.9% system availability

• Work proactively and anticipatively to prevent issues before they impact the business

• Deliver front, middle and back-office system changes and requirements within agreed SLA timeframes

• Ensure supported systems and their internal and external interfaces are well integrated and comply with company and regulatory policies and guidelines

• Coordinate with team members, end users, project teams and outsourced vendors, keeping documentation and communication clear and up to date

• Contribute to project and enhancement deliverables, following Change Management processes

• Address audit issues promptly and complete periodic systems exercises as required by policy

What We're Looking For:

• At least a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience at a senior level

• Hands-on experience with AS400 and back-office application support

• Knowledge of stockbroking operations and user administration

• Familiarity with RPG, SQLRPG and WRKQRY is an advantage

• Exposure to Java, Linux, WebSphere or Windows Server is a plus

• Strong communication skills and a methodical, compliance-minded approach
