Job Scope:

• Review medical records and assign accurate DRG and casemix codes
• Code inpatient discharges, day surgery and clinical procedures
• Ensure coding is completed within required reporting timelines
• Liaise with doctors to clarify incomplete clinical documentation
• Support coding audits and accuracy checks
• Assist with coding enquiries and departmental reporting

Requirements:

• Min Degree in Nursing / Healthcare
• Relevant experience in clinical coding, medical records or healthcare documentation preferred
• Knowledge of DRG / casemix coding advantageous
• Able to interpret medical terminology and clinical records
