Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and responsive Locum Enrolled Nurses (EN) and Locum Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) to join our medical transport team. In this role, you will provide critical pre-hospital care and patient transport services. You will play a key role in supporting our operations, particularly during peak demand and short-staffing activations.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Transport: Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate pre-hospital care and monitoring to patients during medical transport.

• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to operational activations during manpower shortages or high-demand periods.

• Equipment & Inventory Checks: Ensure medical equipment, stretchers, and supplies on board the ambulance is fully functional, sterile, and stocked prior to trips.

• Vital Signs & Documentation: Monitor patient vital signs during transit and accurately complete patient care logs/handover documentation.

• Collaborative Support: Assist the Ambulance Driver and Medical Lead during patient handling, transfers, and emergency procedures.

Position Requirements

• Commitment: Must be able to work at least 2-3 shifts per week (Weekdays only).

• Flexibility: High responsiveness and readiness to be activated on short notice during short-handed periods.

• Qualifications:

  • Valid Enrolled Nurse (EN) registration / license OR EMT Certification (e.g., BCLS + AED certified, accredited EMT training).

  • Previous experience in emergency medical services, ambulance transport, or hospital ward nursing is advantageous.

• Skills: Strong communication skills, physical fitness for patient lifting/transfer, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
