Join a fast-paced logistics environment where you will manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments and play a key role in ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate service delivery for customers. This role is suitable for candidates with hands-on airfreight import experience who enjoy coordination work, problem-solving, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end airfreight import shipments, including arrival coordination, documentation, customs clearance, delivery arrangement, billing, and shipment closure
Act as the main point of contact for customers on import shipment enquiries, updates, and issue resolution
Coordinate with airlines, ground handling agents, trucking partners, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Monitor shipment status and ensure compliance with internal procedures, SLAs, and KPIs
Resolve shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, and customs-related issues proactively
Maintain accurate shipment records, reports, and supporting documentation
Identify workflow improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
Support junior team members on import procedures and documentation where required (For Senior position)
Escalate unresolved operational issues to management and ensure appropriate follow-up
Requirements
Experience in
airfreight import customer service or operations
Good knowledge of end-to-end airfreight export processes, including documentation, customs requirements, and billing
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple shipments effectively
Hands-on experience with CargoWise is an advantage
