Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Analyst role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Financial Analyst will review and interpret financial data, prepare financial reports, and analyze financial statements to support management decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing variance and trend analysis, supporting financial planning and budgeting processes, and providing insights on profitability, cash flow, and financial risk. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, assisting in regulatory and internal reporting, and preparing clear presentations and summaries for stakeholders. The analyst is expected to maintain high standards of accuracy, adhere to relevant financial regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Finance, including financial concepts, instruments, and market practices.
  • Proficiency in Financial Planning and budgeting, with the ability to support forecasts and scenario analysis.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to generate meaningful insights.
  • Advanced Analytical Skills, including data analysis, variance analysis, and trend identification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are an advantage.
  • Competence with spreadsheet and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel) and familiarity with financial systems or ERPs.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a concise, accessible manner.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an on-site team environment and uphold high ethical and compliance standards.
