Role Description This full-time Facilities Technician role is an on-site position based in Seremban. The Facilities Technician will perform day-to-day preventive and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and utilities to ensure safe and reliable operations. Responsibilities include inspecting facilities, identifying issues, conducting repairs, supporting scheduled shutdowns, and coordinating with external vendors or contractors as needed. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-related problems, maintaining accurate maintenance records, and adhering to all safety, health, and regulatory guidelines. The Facilities Technician will collaborate with the facilities management team to support continuous improvement, minimize downtime, and ensure a clean, orderly, and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to support reliable operation of facility systems.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Facility Management (FM) and Building Maintenance to oversee day-to-day facility upkeep.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in engineering, building services, or a related field is beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulatory compliance, and safe work practices in a facilities environment is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance documentation is advantageous.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in facilities or industrial maintenance, especially in healthcare or similar regulated environments, is an added advantage.
