Full Time Quantity Surveyor (Based at Papar Site) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 4,500 in Kti Sabah - Maukerja

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Site Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our project team at the Papar Project Site. You will play an important role in managing project costs, measurements, valuations, subcontractor claims, and commercial matters to support the successful delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle measurement and valuation of construction works based on drawings, specifications, and actual site progress.
• Prepare and verify Bills of Quantities (BQ), quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and progress valuations.
• Prepare, review, and verify subcontractor and supplier progress claims.
• Monitor and evaluate Variation Orders (VO), additional works, and omissions.
• Assist in tendering, quotation evaluation, and negotiation with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project costs, commitments, and expenditure to support effective cost control.
• Conduct regular site measurements and verify completed works against approved drawings and specifications.
• Maintain accurate records of measurements, claims, variations, contracts, and other commercial documentation.
• Work closely with the Project and Site Teams to identify potential cost implications and resolve commercial issues.
• Assist with final accounts, cost reports, forecasts, and contractual documentation.
• Support the Project Manager in managing the overall commercial performance of the project.
• Perform other Quantity Surveying and commercial duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in construction or property development.
• Strong knowledge of quantity measurement, valuation, cost control, progress claims, and subcontractor management.
• Experience in handling Variation Orders and final accounts.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and site operations.
• Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of QS or estimating software is an advantage.
• Independent, organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively under project deadlines.
• Willing to be based at the Papar Project Site.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
