An exciting opportunity to join a leading global investment organization as Legal Counsel supporting investment activities across Asia.

We are seeking a commercially minded lawyer to provide legal support on a broad range of cross-border investment and corporate transactions. This role offers exposure to high-profile deals, close collaboration with investment professionals, and the opportunity to work in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, restructurings, and divestments.
• Support transaction execution, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation, and closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction and commercial agreements.
• Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
• Identify and manage legal and regulatory risks associated with investment activities.
• Support portfolio company and corporate governance matters where required.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with strong academic credentials, Bachelor’s in law (LL.B.), Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent is required; a Master in Law (LL.M.) is an advantage. 
• Approximately 6-8 years of relevant legal experience gained from top-tier international law firm.
• Strong experience in M&A, private equity, venture capital, corporate transactions, or investment-related legal work.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions and work effectively across different jurisdictions.
• Commercially astute, pragmatic, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
