About the Role

The Manager, Business Line develops and executes a strategic plan for the assigned business within DKSH's Healthcare business, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. This role drives sales performance, in-store execution, profitability, and long-term client relationships across the assigned business line, delivering measurable commercial impact through strong leadership and strategic customer engagement.

What You Will Deliver

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of employees within the business unit, providing leadership, direction, and support to help team members excel in their roles
• Lead the development and implementation of short- and long-term sales plans in consultation with clients and in response to market trends and business priorities
• Oversee sales activities, initiating and cascading new and improved strategies and plans in response to changing market conditions and trends
• Continuously monitor and evaluate business performance against established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing timely corrective actions
• Drive post-evaluation of key promotions and communicate results clearly to relevant teams to inform future planning
• Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities, using market data to make informed decisions on product and service offerings and market positioning
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key customers, ensuring their needs are met and the business unit delivers an exceptional standard of service
• Lead and guide the resolution of complex customer issues with a solution-focused and professional approach
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key customers to achieve sustained business objectives
• Drive annual negotiations with key customers, including trading terms and conditions, to facilitate sales agreements and achieve targeted margins
• Anticipate future customer needs and proactively recommend business solutions to address long-term requirements
• Ensure effective inventory management, keeping client stock holdings within budget and minimizing aged and old promotional stock levels
• Manage the financial aspects of the business unit including budgeting, forecasting, and recoverables from clients, ensuring the unit meets its revenue, profitability, and cost-efficiency targets
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify and implement process enhancements and efficiencies
• Ensure integrity, accuracy, and timeliness of performance data and reports to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee initiatives to optimize business processes and improve services through new techniques, tools, and information systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure alignment of strategies and processes, and to identify and leverage cross-product and cross-industry business opportunities
