The position is responsible for assisting the Director, Human Resources (HR) in planning and managing the daily operations of a range of portfolios within the Recruitment function. The position will assist the Director, HR in planning, implementing and monitoring HR activities covering various HR portfolios – which include recruitment and selection, onboarding, and other matters related to expatriate management. While supervising a team of staff, this position is expected to provide leadership to ensure smooth daily operations with expected deliverables completed within budget and set timelines.

- Coordinate expatriate-related matters and liaise with relevant government authorities and statutory bodies.
- Supervise and guide the team, allocate workloads, and monitor performance and development.
- Review and improve HR processes, policies and systems to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Support HR projects, benchmarking, policy reviews and strategic initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and prepare reports, dashboards and recruitment analysis.
- Advise internal stakeholders on HR procedures and respond professionally to enquiries.
- Manage assigned resources and budgets to deliver work within agreed timelines.

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related discipline from a recognised institution. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Human Resources may also be considered.
- 3–5 years of relevant working experience, including at least one year of supervisory experience leading a team.
- Experience in recruitment, selection and onboarding.
- Familiarity with the Sarawak Labour Ordinance and relevant Ministry of Higher Education and Sarawak Immigration Department regulations.
- Knowledge of current recruitment practices and HR trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity using HR information systems.
- Good spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong planning, analytical, reporting and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, resourcefulness and the ability to manage multiple priorities with consistent follow-through.
- High standards of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
