Role Description:

We are looking for an experienced Inspector, QC & Inspection to join our team.

Key Requirements / Responsibilities:

• Strong experience in API 650 tank construction and welding inspection

• Inspection of tank, piping and structural fabrication activities

• Material receiving inspection and material traceability

• Pre-weld inspection including fit-up, alignment, edge preparation, preheating and back purging

• Weld visual inspection and coordination of RT, UT, PAUT, TOFD, MT, PT, PMI and PWHT

• Hands-on experience with MT, PT, Ferrite Number and Hardness testing

• Tank dimensional inspection including plumbness, roundness, peaking and banding

• Line checking, punch-listing and mechanical completion inspection

• Witnessing hydro, pneumatic, leak, air and service tests

• Review of drawings, WPS/PQR, ITPs, method statements and applicable specifications

• Welder qualification and performance monitoring

• Preparation and maintenance of inspection, NDE, NCR, punch-list and QA/QC records

• Preparation of test packages and turnover dossiers

• Liaison with Client, TPI, NDE personnel and site teams

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of quality control principles, inspection methods, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in Tank Construction projects.
• Minimum CSWIP 3.1 or AWS-CWI.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection standards.
• Experience using measurement tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers) for dimensional checks.
