About Bravo! Music Academy

Bravo! Music Academy was founded by Zhibin Chiam, a professional pianist with over a decade of performance experience — including a solo recital at Esplanade Recital Studio. We believe music is best taught by those who live it on stage, not only in the practice room, and every teacher who joins Bravo! is chosen and trained to bring real stage experience into the lesson, not just technique.

We offer personalised piano instruction for students of all ages and levels — from first-time beginners to advanced pianists preparing for exams or performance — at our studio in Katong Shopping Centre, equipped with a baby grand piano.

The Role

We're looking for a Part-Time Piano Teacher to join our team and deliver one-on-one lessons at our Katong studio, to students ranging from young beginners to advanced, exam- or performance-track pianists.

What You'll Do

  • Teach one-on-one piano lessons tailored to each student's goals, age, learning style and pace
  • Prepare students for examinations (e.g. ABRSM or Trinity) or performance opportunities where relevant
  • Track student progress and keep parents informed
  • Bring genuine performing experience into your teaching — helping students understand not just how to play, but why each technique matters

What We're Looking For

  • Real performing experience
  • A genuine ability to connect with students, especially young learners — patience, warmth, and the knack for keeping a child engaged and motivated
  • Strong piano technique and a solid grounding in music theory
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable communicating with children and their parents
  • A formal music qualification (e.g. ABRSM Grade 8, diploma or degree in music performance and/or education)

What We Offer

  • Pay from $30/hour + CPF contribution
  • Flexible part-time hours based on student bookings — let us know your general availability (e.g. weekday afternoons/evenings, weekends)
  • A dedicated studio space with a baby grand piano at Katong Shopping Centre
  • Teacher support and training

To Apply

Send your resume, availability, performance video and a cover letter to *************

Pay: $30.00 - $51.30 per hour

Benefits:

  • Employee assistance programme
  • Flexible schedule
  • Professional development

Work Location: In person
