Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Expert & Host Live role based in Bandar Baru Bangi. The role involves planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to promote Proton vehicles, dealership campaigns, and brand initiatives. The Social Media Expert will host live sessions, product walk-throughs, and interactive broadcasts to engage audiences, answer questions, and support online sales efforts. Daily responsibilities include monitoring social media channels, responding to comments and messages, collaborating with sales and marketing teams on promotions, and analyzing performance metrics to improve content and engagement. The role also includes capturing photo and video content at the showroom, supporting customer events, and ensuring a consistent, professional brand image in all online interactions.
Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, including clear on-camera presence and the ability to engage live audiences effectively.
• Customer Service and Sales skills to handle inquiries, build rapport with potential buyers, and support conversion from online engagement to showroom visits.
• Training experience, with the ability to guide team members on social media best practices and live hosting etiquette.
• Exposure to Food & Beverage or other service-oriented industries is an advantage, demonstrating comfort with public interaction and fast-paced environments.
• Experience managing social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), including content creation, scheduling, and basic analytics.
• Basic video production skills (filming, simple editing, live streaming tools) and familiarity with social media trends.
• High level of professionalism, reliability, and willingness to work on-site, including weekends or peak sales periods as needed.
• Secondary or post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field is an advantage; relevant experience in social media or hosting may substitute formal education.
