Responsibilities
SingHealth's expanding portfolio in research partnerships, innovation development and commercial collaborations has driven the need for robust governance in managing complex conflict of interest matters. This exciting opportunity calls for an experienced professional to establish and lead a dedicated Conflict of Interest Unit within our Technology Development & Commercialisation (TD&C) team. The role offers the chance to shape institutional policy and practice while supporting our healthcare professionals in their research, innovation and industry partnerships.
As Assistant Director, you will establish comprehensive frameworks and processes to identify, assess and manage conflict of interest matters across the institution. This includes providing expert guidance to SingHealth leadership and staff on disclosures, regulations and policies, whilst ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements. You will analyse complex cases, develop management plans, and review external contracts involving SingHealth staff. A key aspect of the role involves building strong relationships with clinicians, researchers and industry partners to promote awareness and understanding of conflict-of-interest matters, while facilitating compliant research and innovation activities.
